Wonderful Pistachios Super Bowl: For the biggest, American-ist game of the year, who better to kickoff our Wonderful Pistachios campaign than Stephen Colbert? While his ad was viewed on TV during the Super Bowl, he was, “liked,” tweeted and loved by millions in the digital world thanks to our behind-the-scene clips, social posts, tweets, emails, gifs, banners, websites and the “Count Our Nuts” sweeps where you could guess your way to $100K.
Freedum The Eagle After some debate and many foot massages we convinced Stephen to bring back his trusty companion, Freedum the Eagle. We then used Freedum as the voice of the digital realm. To increase engagement with the campaign, we created his own twitter account featuring jokes and observations from the voice of America’s favorite spokeseagle. Freedum also took over Wonderful Pistachios’ twitter account daily to answer fans questions via the hashtag #AskEagle. Fans were treated to replies and custom made videos.
Super Bowl Engagement: We even took it beyond the web and hit the streets of New York City, where we passed out pistachio earmuffs, beanies and lots of nuts to enjoy while watching Colbert climb the famous Walgreens board in Times Square. So if you were sitting on the couch, chatting on FB, or freezing in Times Square - Colbert and Wonderful Pistachios were with you.
A Wonderful Pistachios Nerf football is probably the best idea I had working on the brand. I loved the idea of thousands of them whooshing around the parking lot of the Super bowl.
A short animated film we created to illustrate the total capabilities of Ring.
A project I begun for an anti-tobacco site called tobacco is terrific, that created an alternate universe with two sides: effects and addiction. The site never went live, but I like the poster work I created, so it gets to stay here.
